India: SAIL-BSP to auction 17,000 t of commercial rails on 21 Dec’21

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) will conduct an auction for 17,000 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails from its flagship Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh on 21 Dec’21. At the previous SAIL-BSP rails auction held on 7 Dec, buyers booked 14,500 t (60 kg) rails at a weighted average price of INR 36,600/t exw, as per SteelMint reports.
