Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 4,330/t ($680/t), inclusive of 13% VAT, on 15 Dec’21. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for May’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,441/t ($698/t), an increase of RMB 59/t ($9/t), d-o-d.
