India: Sponge iron offers up by INR 300/t in Bellary

Sponge iron, C-DRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 300/t on 14 Dec’21, However, sponge P-DRI prices continued to stay flat in today’s trade, as per SteelMint assessment.

• Around 2,400 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 29,000/t against offers at INR 29,200/t exw.
• SteelMint’s price assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 30,100/t ($397/t). Around 1,400 t of deals were reported today.
