Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the second consecutive day at RMB 4,360/t ($687/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 9 Dec’21. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for May’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,293/t ($676/t), a fall of RMB 57/t ($9/t), d-o-d.
