India: Ramgarh-based mills conclude 2,800 t billet deals

Jharkhand-based mills concluded around 2,800 t of billet deals, of which 1,000 t of low-carbon material was sold at INR 42,000/t exw Ramgarh with full advance payment for Mandi Gobindgarh (freight cost around INR 2,300-2,500/t via road).

• The remaining 1,800 t was sold at INR 41,100-41,200/t exw to local buyers.
• Also, 1,700 t of sponge iron, PDRI, deals were concluded at INR 27,500-27,700/t exw.
