India: Sponge iron offers fall by up to INR 400/t in Bellary

Sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary fell by INR 400/t. Sponge C-DRI prices, too, declined by INR 150/t on 2 Dec’21.

• Around 2,900 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,000-28,300/t against offers at INR 28,300/t exw.
• SteelMint’s price assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 29,500/t ($394) and around 500 t of deals were reported.
