Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable for the third consecutive day at RMB 4,290/t ($673/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 2 Dec’21. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for May’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,288/t ($673/t), a decrease of RMB 18/t ($3/t), d-o-d.
