Japan’s major electric arc furnace (EAF) steel producer, Tokyo Steel, has rolled over finished steel prices for Dec’21 in order to let the market absorb previous rounds of hikes, as per company officials.
Prices for HRC are stable at JPY 110,000/t ($964/t) for the seventh month in a row, while those of rebar (D13-D25) stand at JPY 89,000/t ($779/t) for the second consecutive month.
