Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has lowered pellet offers for the domestic market by INR 700/t ($9/t) to INR 11,300/t exw ($152/t) as against INR 12,000/t ($161/t) on 12 Nov’21. However, some local producers are offering pellets at around INR 11,000/t ($148/t) exw-Raipur. The decline in sponge iron prices and falling bids have resulted in a drop in pellet offers.
