India: Long steel exports plummet 53%, m-o-m, in Oct’21

Long steel exports from India totalled 129,765 t in Oct’21, down 53% compared to 275,160 t in Sep.

• • Export volumes of rebar stood at 44,372 t, down 64% on month
  • Wire rod exports were at 68,205 t, a decrease of 50% m-o-m
  • Exports of structurals jumped 14% to 17,187 t.
  • Hong Kong, Nepal, Singapore and Taiwan were the top export destinations.
