- Japan’s leading steel producer, Tokyo Steel, has lowered scrap purchase bids for the second time this week by JPY 500/t ($4) for all its plants from 13 Nov’21.
- After the revision, the company’s bid price for H2 scrap stands at JPY 56,000/t ($490) for the Tahara steelworks, and JPY 55,000/t ($481) for the Utsunomiya works.
