SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, C-DRI, stands at INR 32,000/t ($430/t) in Bellary on 11 Nov’21. Around 1,600 t of deals was reported today. However, a few bids were reported at INR 32,000/t exw.
About 1,100 t of sponge iron, P-DRI, deals were confirmed at INR 30,500-31,000/t against offers at INR 31,000/t exw for the Hindupur region. Prices stay firm on sufficient orders received by mills.
