Turkey is the largest ferrous scrap importing country with imports volume touching 19 mn t, up 18% y-o-y in Jan-Sept CY’21. Vietnam is the second largest scrap importing country with 4.4 mn t, up 9% y-o-y in Jan-Sept CY’21. Bangladesh is the third largest scrap importer after importing 4.1 mn t of scrap, down 6% y-o-y.
