Mid-sized rolling mills in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have decreased rebar (10-25mm) offers by up to INR 800/t, d-o-d, to INR 49,000/t. Mills have slashed prices due to dull buying enquiries in the spot market along with a parallel correction in semi-finished steel (ingot and billet) prices in yesterday’s trading session. These factors prompted rebar manufacturers to adjust their offers.
