Vietnam: Scrap prices fall in tandem with declining import offers from Japan

Ferrous scrap prices in Vietnam have dropped by VND 500/t ($22) of late, as per latest reports available with SteelMint.
The procurement price for domestic H2 grade scrap stands at VND 11,600/kg ($504/t).
As far as import prices are concerned, Japanese bulk H2 offers are at $530/t on CFR basis, a decrease of $20-25/t on the week.
