SAIL conducted an auction today for 7,000 t (60 kg) of full-length commercial rails from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 40,525/t exw, sources informed. Bid prices decreased by INR 2,195/t compared to the previous auction on 21 Oct. At the previous auction, 10,000 t of rails were booked at INR 42,720/t exw.
