During a conference call with analysts today, Vedanta Ltd. announced that FACOR, the company’s ferroalloys subsidiary, has achieved production of 19 kt in Q2FY’22 in line with the plant’s productivity enhancement by 10%. Ferro chrome production remained stable despite a fall in chrome ore production due to the monsoons. FACOR expects to increase production by 60 kt/year by putting another idled furnace into operation.
