Japan: Ferrous scrap exports fall 15% on month in Sept’21

Japan has registered a 15%, m-o-m, drop in ferrous scrap export volumes in Sept’21, as per latest data available with SteelMint.
The country exported 0.44 mn t of scrap in Sept as against 0.52 mn t in Aug, according to data.
South Korea was the largest importer at 0.22 mn t in Sept followed by Vietnam at 0.11 mn t.
