India: 700 t of pig iron booked at SAIL-DSP auction

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) held an auction for 700 t of steel grade pig iron on 28 Oct’21 from the Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 44,050/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. SteelMint’s daily assessment for steel grade pig iron stood at INR 45,100/t exw-Durgapur on 28 Oct.
