IF-based rebar producers saw demand improving in most major markets today. Rebar prices increased by up to INR 1,100/t in key markets, except in the southern and western regions. Rising semi-finished steel prices and improvement in buying enquiries prompted manufacturers to increase or adjust rebar prices, as per market requirements. Prices in the near term are expected to remain supported, SteelMint notes.
