India: Prakash Industries’ iron ore output up 112%, y-o-y, in Q2 FY’22

Central India-based steel producer, Prakash Industries Ltd., has released Q2FY’22 results. Highlights:

• Total iron ore mined from the Sirkaguttu mines in Odisha stands at 0.18 mn t, up 112% y-o-y.
• The company has achieved half-yearly net sales of INR 1,924 crore, registering a growth of 49% y-o-y.
• The company plans to enhance production capacity in the coming quarters.
