Turkey: Ferrous scrap import prices inch up in latest deal

Ferrous scrap import prices into Turkey have risen further by around $2-5/t in a deal heard recently.
A Venezuela-origin scrap cargo containing 25,000 t of HMS 1&2 (80:20) was booked at $505/t CFR. The deal has been finalised for Nov’21 shipment.
The cargo was booked by a steel mill based in the Mediterranean region, as per sources.
