India: Manganese Ore on Sale in MOIL’s Auction

MOIL, formerly known as Manganese Ore (India) Ltd, invites bid for sale of Manganese ore through Metal Scrap Trade Corporation (MSTC).

Sale is based on forward e-auction conducted by MSTC and will be open for all participants.

The two auctions are scheduled on 03 Jun & 04 Jun, 2014.

General Condition

• Bidders can’t bid for exporting the items as they are not meant for export
• MOIL wishes to offer the material as for immediate sale FOR MOIL mine siding basis
• Dispatch will be from rail to road or vice-versa, which will not be changed
• The bid value shall be the basic price of the material, exclusive of all applicable levies like royalty, sales taxes, duties etc in INR/MT

• Mn:25-30 %
• Fe: 8.6-9%
• SiO2: 27-35%
• Size: 03-75 mm

Quantity: 11,614 MT

Location: Dongari Buzurg Mine, Bhandara (Maharashtra)

Auction 2

• Item: Ferro grade Manganese ore
• Mn: 37-48%
• Fe: 7-9%
• SiO₂: 6.5-24%

Total Quantity: 25,272 MT 

Location: Chikla Mine, Bhandara (Mahashtra)

Bid submission due date: 03 Jun, 2014 at 16.00 hrs
Bid opening date: 04 Jun, 2014 at 13.00 hrs

Mode of Dispatch: By Road/Rail

Transportation: The buyer will arrange for transport and on their specific authorization, the material will be handed over to the transporter. Loading shall be arranged by MOIL.

MOIL had floated its last tender for sale of 1,552 MT Ferro Manganese on 28 May, 2014.
