Iran’s DRI production falls by 5% in H1 of Persian year

Iran’s direct-reduced iron (DRI) production fell by 5% during the period between 21 Mar and 21 Sep’21. As per ISPA, DRI production in the country stood at 14.79 mn t in the first six months of the Islamic year against 15.56 mn t in the same period last year. Iran is one of the leading sponge iron producers in the world after India.
