In a confirmed deal, a Panamax vessel containing Australian 5500 NAR grade thermal coal has been booked at $180/t CIF Vizag for Oct’21 loading. Amidst the acute domestic coal supply shortage, Indian buyers are back to booking 5500 NAR grade Australian coal due to its relatively cheaper prices against other origin coal. Indian buyers have been buying Chinese reloaded Australian coal cargoes since late-September.
