As per latest reports, a conveyor belt at Richards Bay Coal Terminal in South Africa was damaged by fire yesterday night. The extent of the damage is still being assessed. Any major impact of the incident on coal supplies has not been reflected in the country’s RB1 (6000 NAR) index prices, which are assessed at $217/t, up $7/t, d-o-d.
