D.K. Mohanty has assumed charge as Director (Production) of NMDC. Mohanty joined NMDC in 2015 in the 3 mn t/year NMDC Iron and Steel Plant (NISP) in Chhattisgarh. He started his career at Vizag Steel Plant in 1987 after completing his B.Sc in Metallurgy from NIT Rourkela. He has a rich and varied experience spanning over 33 years in steel plant operations and projects.
