Ferrexpo pellet production down 9% in Q3 CY’21

Ferrexpo has recorded pellet production at 2.6 mn t in Q3 CY’21, down 9% on quarter following disruption due to pelletiser upgradation.

• The company’s pellet production for Fe 65-67% material represented the total output in Q3 2021. Ferrexpo’s operations and logistics also recorded 85,000 t of additional high-grade commercial concentrates production.
• The company is the world’s third largest exporter of pellets to the steel industry.
