India: South African RB2 coal prices rise by INR 3,500/t at Gangavaram

In a confirmed deal, 4,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal has been sold at INR 18,000-19,000/t at Gangavaram Port. Around 5,000 t of RB2 coal has been sold at INR 18,800/t at Mangalore Port. Rising imported coal prices continue to fuel portside RB2 prices, which have risen by $25/t in a single day to $236/t.
