Sponge iron prices in Karnataka’s Bellary remain unaltered on 22 Sep’21. C-DRI stands at INR 30,500-30,600/t ($414). 1,560 of t C-DRI deals have been reported. A few bids have been reported at around INR 30,400/t exw. 1,100 t of P-DRI deals confirmed at INR 29,800-29,900/t against offers at INR 30,000/t, exw for Hindupur region. Mill owners continue to keep prices at a firm level.
