Leading state-owned long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has scheduled an e-auction for around 2,250 t of steel grade pig iron on 21 Sep’21.The steelmaker’s previous pig iron auction conducted on 16 Sep for a similar quantity fetched bids at INR 38,100/t. However, RINL’s management did not approve the price on expectation of higher prices at the auction, as per SteelMint reports.
