Indian buyers are back to booking Indonesian coal at a premium amid domestic shortage. Indonesian 3100 GAR grade coal trade happened at a premium of $1/t. Trade for 3400 GAR has happened at a premium of $3.5/t, while 4200 GAR and 5100 GAR trades happened at a premium of $4/t above the ICI index. The shipments are for supramax vessels due for arrival in Oct-Nov’21.
