Pakistan: Ferrous scrap import prices fall by $5/t

Ferrous scrap import prices into Pakistan have dropped by around $5/t, with limited deals concluded recently.
A few mills booked around 2,000-3,000 t of UK-origin shredded scrap at $517-520/t CFR Port Qasim in the last few days for Oct’21 arrivals.
SteelMint’s bi-weekly assessment for shredded scrap of UK/EU-origin stands at $520-525/t CFR Port Qasim, down $5/t compared to the beginning of this week.
