Three rakes (equivalent to 7,500 t) of pig iron deals were concluded to Punjab today, as per SteelMint reports. While two rakes were sold by western India-based plants, one rake was sold by a plant in Kharagpur, West Bengal. Notably, bids increased by INR 2,000-2,500/t, as per SteelMint reports. The average prices of the rakes were reported at INR 45,200-45,300/t, INR 45,800-45,900/t and INR 45,900-46,000/t on delivered to siding basis at Phillaur, Punjab.
