Melting scrap prices fluctuated across regions today as stability was witnessed in some markets, while marginal correction and improvement were observed in other markets. Tight availability of scrap and weak demand for finished steel triggered different price ranges, resulting in a correction in prices in the Gujarat market. However, stability was observed in the southern region, while prices rose in the northern region.
