Sponge iron demand stays active following improvement in billet trades. Due to ongoing supply shortage, prices of sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 400/t to INR 29,700/t exw-Raipur.
- About 5,000 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 29,400-29,700/t as against offers at INR 29,500-29,800/t exw and FOR Raipur.
- A few deals for DR CLO grade sponge iron were reported at INR 32,600-32,700/t exw.
