- Domestic scrap prices in Vietnam have increased by $13/t recently, as per SteelMint records.
- The procurement price of H1 grade scrap stands at VND 12,000/kg ($522/t), while VND 11,700/kg ($509/t) is the price of H2 scrap.
- Scrap prices have edged up on limited collection as lockdown restrictions are yet to be lifted in Vietnam. If local authorities lift restrictions by 21 Sept’21, re-bar prices may rise.
