Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary moved up by INR 150/t on 6 Sept’21. However, C-DRI prices fell slightly by INR 50/t in today’s trade, as per SteelMint reports. BMM Ispat raised sponge P-DRI offers by INR 200/t and were heard to have concluded deals at around INR 28,800/t exw. A total of 1,900 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,800/t against offers at INR 29,000/t exw. Most of the deals concluded were for Maharashtra and the Hindupur region.
SteelMint’s assessment for sponge C-DRI is at INR 30,200/t ($413). A few bids have been reported at INR 30,000/t exw-Bellary. A total of about 600 t of C-DRI deals were reported by local manufacturers.
