South Korea’s Crude Steel Production up 8% in H1CY21

South Korea’s crude steel production in H1CY21 increased by 8% to 35.5 mn t from 32.9 mn t in H1CY20. Compared to H1CY20, the country saw an increase in production in all months of H1CY21.

It is to be noted that in CY20, South Korea’s crude steel production decreased by 6% to 68 mn t in CY20 from 72 mn t in CY19.
