NINL decreased its Coke prices marginally by INR 50/MT for upto 2,200 MT quantity sale for the month of May’14.
MMTC has put up around 19,800 MT LAM Coke of NINL on sale and offered basic prices at around INR 15,550/MT on Ex-Cuttack (Odisha) basis for upto 2,200 MT quantity.
NINL’s offers are for Road or Rail movement and also providing discounts according to the booking quantity as follows:

NINL’s LAM Coke contains 12.5% of Ash max; sizes available between 20-80 mm. The validity of the NINL’s offer is till 31 May, 2014.
Last week Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL) had received poor response in auction of 19,200 MT Coke. They have received quotation for LAM Hard Coke around INR 12,100/MT Ex-Durgapur plant.
Due to the low international Coke prices, Indian merchant Coke manufacturers are facing little difficulties. Another eastern India based Coke producer offering 40-60 mm LAM Coke at INR 15,200/MT.
However, buyers are cautious on buying as INR appreciation may boast Coke imports at lower prices as well, which likely to worsen the situation for merchant Coke producers.
