Sponge iron prices remained stable in Rourkela despite limited buying interest and a fall in billet prices by INR 100/t. According to sources, higher offers continued to support sponge prices due to limited supply.
- Current offers for sponge C-DRI are at INR 32,700/t ($440/t) exw.
- About 2,100 t of deals were confirmed at INR 32,500-32,800/t exw-Rourkela today.
