Vietnam’s Formosa lowers HRC offers by $60/t m-o-m

Vietnamese steelmaker, Formosa Ha Tinh, with an installed crude steel capacity of 7 mn t/year, has cut HRC offers by $60/t m-o-m for Aug-Sept’21 deliveries.
Revised offers for HRC stand at $960-970/t CFR, SteelMint learnt from Vietnamese sources.
The steep fall in HRC import offers from Russia, India and China has resulted in the decline in domestic HRC prices.
