Japan’s ferro chrome imports down 31% in May’21

Ferro chrome imports by Japan decreased 31.3% to 48,798 t in May’21 as against 70,995 t in April, according to customs data accessed by SteelMint.

• South Africa remained the largest importer at 23,414 t in May.
• Kazakhstan was the second-largest importer at 17,116 t followed by Russia at 2,641 t.
