India: KIOCL Finance Director assumes charge as interim CMD

S.K. Gorai, Director of Finance at KIOCL, has assumed additional charge as Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of the state-run company from 1 Jul’21, SteelMint learnt from a Twitter post by KIOCL. Gorai takes over for a period of three months or till the joining of a regular CMD, whichever is earlier. A leading state-owned pellet producer and exporter, KIOCL produced 2.21 mn t of pellets in 2020-21 as against 2.37 mn t in the previous fiscal.
