India: Tata Tiscon becomes first Indian rebar brand to receive GreenPro certification

Tata Steel has become the first Indian steel company to receive the GreenPro certification for rebar, as per latest reports. The GreenPro Ecolabel enables end-users to make informed choices about buying steel having the lowest environmental impact. This certification has made Tata Tiscon the first GreenPro certified rebar brand in India. Earlier this year, Tata Steel collaborated with the CII Green Business Centre and other relevant stakeholders to develop a GreenPro framework for steel rebar.
