India: Indonesian 3600 GAR coal traded at INR 3,650/t, ex-Navlakhi

In a confirmed deal, 35,000 t of Indonesian 3600 GAR coal was sold at INR 3,650/t at Navlakhi port (price excludes cess and GST). Amid a sharp rise in high-CV Indonesian coal prices, enquiries for low-CV coal have surfaced over the last few weeks. Market participants expect portside Indonesian coal prices to remain firm due to resilient freight rates and lower cargo availability.
