Jindal SAW Ltd has increased pellet offers by INR 500/t against the last offer floated in May’21, as per reports. The current offer for Fe 63% pellet stands at INR 16,700/t, DAP Kandla. Hike in domestic pellet offers in key markets and limited availability amid strong export bookings have supported the price hike, SteelMint notes. The company has pellet production capacity of 1.5 mn t per annum in Bhilwara and is a key source of raw materials for Gujarat-based plants.
