Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices increased by INR 200/t to INR 31,000/t, exw Raipur, on 11 Jun’21. Offers climbed tracking gain in billet prices, although buyers remained on the sidelines, as bids had been lessened by INR 300-500/t compared to the offers that were floated.
- Bids for P-DRI were reported at INR 30,700-30,900/t as against offers of INR 31,300-31,500/t, exw. Although a couple of plants claimed to have wrapped up 500 t deals at INR 31,200-300/t, exw Raipur, SteelMint could not confirm these transactions. Offers from Raigarh were at INR 31,000/t FoR Raipur.
- A few bids for DR-CLO grade sponge iron were recorded at INR 33,500-33,600/t against offers of INR 34,000-34,200/t, exw.
