PSU steelmaker SAIL had re-issued an export tender for 16,000 t hot-rolled coil (HRC), SteelMint learnt from sources. The due date for submission of bids was 9 Jun ’21 and the shipment had been scheduled for 31 Jul. According to latest updates from sources, the tender failed to fetch any response. However, sources have confirmed that the steel major has concluded an HRC export deal off-tender at around $900/t, FoB.
