JSW Steel Ltd has announced a significant hike in list prices of HRC by INR 3,150/t ($43) and that of CRC by INR 4,900/t ($67) on 1 June ’21.
While HRC now stands at INR 70,000-70,500/t ($960-967), CRC is at INR 87,500-88,000/t ($1,200-1,207). These prices are on ex-yard Mumbai basis, excluding 18% GST.
Supply tightness due to higher export orders has resulted in a steep hike in prices, SteelMint notes.
